I was born in Queensland where I grew up and I have also lived in Tasmania.  Now I live in Melbourne with my wife and son.  I studied science at university, which has taken me on a career path through research, self employment and now as a consultant where I work for a global company with an annual turnover of multiple billion per year.

My first entrepreneurial chapter following study was in 2004 when I launched a horticultural and landscaping business.  I started small and humble in the residential scene, then up and on to multi scale commercial projects and eventually to grand scale civil site restoration.  Here I managed entire work programs and multiple work crews, which was great experience.

I am currently working in the corporate sector with other local, national and global companies and organisations.   The reason I mention this is not with the intent of achieving an eye opening response but to illustrate that I have a very fortunate exposure a complete variety of business types and understand the processes required to keep small, medium and larger business sustainable.  What’s interesting is the principles underlying the key processes are fundamentally the same no matter what size the business.

Throughout my entire career I have been studying and applying business administration, sales and marketing and professional development.  Through this activity I have observed the difference between business operations that thrive compared to those that slowly, or quickly perish.

I have been coached and mentored by some of Australia’s top performing business leaders on how to optimize small business process and how to use the very latest in modern technology to automate and outsource business services.  Furthermore how to present information and learning programs via web based forums enabling participation from any person anywhere in Australia and indeed globally.
